Feb. 27, 2013 — 29 taken into custody in southeast Texas in massive racketeering indictment, including 17 former state correction officers

A sealed indictment charging numerous defendants with racketeering violations was unsealed following their recent arrests throughout the Southern District of Texas and elsewhere.
