A few safety tips to share as severe weather continues around the U.S.:
- Let people know you or your loved ones are safe after a disaster by using Red Cross Safe & Well www.safeandwell.org and sending them a text message
- During a flood, don't drive or walk through flooded areas. The water depth & current may be unpredictable.
- For safety tips on any type of disaster, check out www.Ready.gov on your computer and http://m.fema.gov/ on your phone
