INFORM: USDA NAHMS Feedlot Study 2011
USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service sent this bulletin at 10/01/2012 10:40 AM EDTUSDA's National Animal Health Monitoring System (NAHMS) has released four information sheets from the Feedlot 2011 study. One portion of this study examines large U.S. feedlots (1,000 head or more capacity) in 12 states. The feedlots were divided into two groups based on capacity: (1) 1,000 to 7,999 head and (2) 8,000 head or more.
