The 2013 AmeriCorps NOFO has
been posted on the CNCS website.
The application instructions, performance measure
instructions and other supporting documents will be posted in the next couple
of days.
Dates: Applications are due Wednesday, January 23, 2013
at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Successful applicants will be notified no later than
June 14, 2013, contingent on full year appropriations.
The mission of
the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) is to improve lives,
strengthen communities, and foster civic participation through service and
volunteering. CNCS has helped to engage millions of citizens in meeting
community and national challenges through service and volunteer action.
In order to
maximize the impact of the public investment in national service, CNCS will
fund programs that can demonstrate community impact and solve community
problems using an evidence-based or evidence-informed approach (e.g.
performance data, research, theory of change).
Publication of
this Notice
does not obligate CNCS to award any specific number of grants or to obligate
the entire amount of funding available.
