New HealthSelect medical ID cards mailed

UnitedHealthcare recently mailed new HealthSelect medical ID cards to existing members with coverage on September 1, 2012. Your card has a new identification number and group number. Simply present your card at your health care appointments on and after September 1. If you received a card, you are enrolled in HealthSelect, so there is no need to call to verify coverage. Note: A statement on the card says, "This card does not guarantee coverage." This disclaimer means that if you try to use your card after your coverage ends (for example, if you leave employment and don't continue coverage through COBRA), you will not have coverage. Continue to use your Caremark ID card for prescription drugs.
