SDE Introduces New Service Desk
Got a question? Need help with information about your school?
We are pleased to introduce the new Customer Service Desk from the State Department of Education.
Beginning Tuesday May 1, 2012, our Customer Service Desk will ensure friendly, accurate and timely responses to all inquiries from school administrators, parents, educators and others seeking information from the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
To reach the Service Desk from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, simply call 405-521-3301 or 405-521-3333. Or you can email us at email@example.com
When you call the SDE Service Desk, you won't reach a recorded message. You'll talk to a staff member. The Service Desk will research your query, transfer you to other appropriate staff if necessary or create individual cases for staff to resolve when an answer isn't immediately available. You will be contacted within 24 hours by SDE staff to follow up and update you on progress.
Our SDE Customer Service Desk can assist school administrators, educators, parents and more with a variety of common questions, including:
- Upcoming and current events
- Help in locating resources for school personnel, such as the School District Reporting Site.
- Assistance in navigating the SDE website
- Information about new rules or rule changes approved by the State Board of Education.
- New statewide programs and reforms.
A-F Report Card Guide Now Online
The State Department of Education has posted a number of resources and tools on a new webpage
for the A-F Report Card for Schools.
Most importantly for school administrators, the new A-F Report Card Guide
is now posted on the State Department of Education's Website.
We've also included links to the School Law Book
-- the law governing A-F is Section 847.3 (70-1210.545), which begins on page 651 -- and to the rules
promulgated from the law.
