Commissioner Doak Set to Tour Wildfire Damage

 

Commissioner John D. Doak will be visiting Kiefer, Liberty and the Mounds area today to examine the damage caused by wildfires which started on March 5^th. The wildfires swept through the NE part of the state affecting mostly Tulsa, Creek, and Okmulgee counties.

“These areas were primed for wildfires given the high winds and dry conditions. The local and rural firefighters did a tremendous job protecting the property and home owners and today, I want to highlight their hard work.”
