Detectives Need Help Identifying Robbery Suspect
North Las Vegas, Nevada – Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect from two armed robberies that occurred in North Las Vegas last week.
On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at about 4:55 a.m., officers responded to the 6000 block of Losee Road in reference to a report of an armed robbery. The suspect fled within minutes of police arriving on scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates the suspect entered the store, asked for cigarettes, and then pointed a black handgun at the clerk. The suspect then fled the store with a carton of cigarettes. The clerk was not injured.
A few hours later, at about 8:16 a.m., Officers responded to the 500 block of East Centennial Parkway in reference to a report of another armed robbery. Again the suspect fled within minutes of police arriving on scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates the suspect entered the store and again asked for cigarettes. The suspect then pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded cash from the register. The suspect fled the store with over $300 in cash. The clerk was not injured.
The suspect in both robberies is described as an Hispanic male, about 6'0" tall, 180 pounds, bald with a black goatee and mustache. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with “Addidas” on the front with grey sweat pants. See the attached photos.
