New Economic Development Partnership Website Launched

The City of Raleigh Office of Economic Development has announced a new partnership website for economic development. The website, called InvestRaleigh.com, can be found at www.investraleigh.com. The site represents local economic development partners by pulling together information regarding Raleigh’s economic development initiatives into one location. 

Partners in the new website are:

• Dwight Bassett, manager of the City of Raleigh Office of Economic Development;
• The Raleigh Economic Development office of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. This office serves as representatives for new and expanding businesses;
• Downtown Raleigh Alliance, which is responsible for overseeing Downtown interests in the areas of retail and dining establishments, promoting the Downtown brand, producing merchant programs that draw customers Downtown, and collecting data related to monitoring the market climate of Downtown;
• Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau. The bureau joins the interests of City and County government, trade and civic associations and travel suppliers to build visitor traffic to the area; and,
• Raleigh Area Development Authority which was founded to provide financial and counseling assistance to Raleigh residents who have low or moderate incomes.

InvestRaleigh.com provides information about business recruitment, expansion and retention, opportunities for finance and incentives, and business assistance for large or small businesses.
