Your Input is Needed!

Help us continue to develop the future of Raleigh’s bus transit system. The Capital Area Transit (CAT) Short Range Transit Plan has been drafted, providing recommendations for improving bus transit service for the City of Raleigh within the next three to five years.

 

The purpose of the upcoming workshop series will be to provide feedback on the draft service improvement recommendations and identify priorities for implementation within the next three to five years. Workshop facilitators will be available to answer any questions you have about the draft plan.

 

Below are the dates for upcoming informational workshops related to the CAT Short Range Transit Plan. Please mark them on your calendars.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts on the draft recommendations, which include: 

  • Improvements to existing bus routes
  • New bus routes
  • Nighttime, weekend, holiday, and fringe trip schedule adjustments
  • Frequency adjustments
  • Improvement projects in specific areas and corridors, including complementary streetscape improvements
  • Transit center improvements 

In addition to these workshops, an online comment form and draft recommendations fact sheet will be available at raleighnc.gov/transit within the next week.  This online comment form offers a convenient opportunity for you to provide feedback on the draft recommended bus transit improvements should you not be able to attend any of the workshops.
