Enchanted Airlie

It's that time of year again...  time to gather your friends and family together and head over to Airlie Gardens to take in the sparkling sights and festive sounds of the season!  Guests from around the world have visited Airlie Gardens to enjoy the 0.5 mile self-guided walking tour of spectacular lights and holiday displays.  Santa Claus will be there, as well as, local food & beverage vendors selling coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn, cookies and more.  

Dates & Times
-November 25th & 26th and December 2nd-4th, 9-11th & 15th-22nd

-Two run-times per evening:  5-7pm or 7-9pm

Bird Bonanza at Airlie Gardens

Join us on Wednesday, November 9th from 8am-12pm for a Bird Bonanza!  The event includes a bird hike at 8am, birding expo from 9am-noon and a 30-minute Fall Migrant Workshop with Jill Peleuses from Wild Bird & Garden at 11am.  All Bird Bonanza events are FREE for Airlie Members and included with regular garden admission for all others.  More Information

Holiday Parties at the Executive Development Center

Are you looking for a place to host your holiday get-together?  Whether it's a business, family or social gathering, the EDC has a room for you!  We have smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings and larger rooms with seating for up to 150 people.  We also have party packages that include room rental at the EDC and tickets to Enchanted Airlie.  Visit our website or contact edcinfo@nhcgov.com for more information.

Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

Parks & Gardens Office:  Closed Nov 24 & 25th
Airlie Gardens:  Closed Nov 24th
Executive Development Center:  Closed Nov 24 & 25th

Airlie Gardens will re-open at 9am on Friday, November 25th.  In order to prepare for Enchanted Airlie, the gardens will close at 4pm on scheduled dates.

Construction Updates

We've made a lot of progress on the Hugh MacRae Park Splashpad and Ogden Skatepark!  Although the wet weather slowed us down a bit, we're steadily moving forward on both projects. 

Splashpad:  Should be complete later this month after landscaping and fencing.  We look forward to folks being able to use the splashpad in the Spring.  

Skatepark:  Crews started pouring concrete at the skatepark the last week in October and we expect the project to be complete in late December.  More Information
