UPDATE - Water Main Break in the Vicinity of the Intersection
of Johnsville Rd and Chatelaine Ct

Eldersburg, MD, 11:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 24, 2020 – Be advised that the Carroll County Bureau of Utilities has completed repairs to the water main break in the vicinity of the intersection of Johnsville Road and Chatelaine Court in Eldersburg. Water service is being restored to the impacted users at this time. System users may experience some fluctuation of water pressure and cloudy water as service is restored. If this occurs, it is recommended that cold water taps be turned on and that the water be run for several minutes to clear the lines. It is also advised that users refrain from using high water volume appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, etc., during periods of cloudy water or low pressure.

Please be aware that additional maintenance activity will be performed on the water main throughout the remainder of the day. This work will have no impact on the water service or pressure.
