Commissioner Weaver to attend Finksburg Planning and Citizens’ Council Meeting

Monday, October 17, 2017- Citizens are invited to attend a meeting to hear “What’s Happening in Carroll”.

This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, share your concerns, thoughts and ideas. 

Commissioner Weaver will be available to discuss items of general interest to the community.  The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Finksburg Branch, Carroll County Public Library, 2265 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, Maryland  21048.

More about Commissioner Weaver:

Richard Weaver is in his first term as County Commissioner. He retired from Carroll County Public Schools where he was an educator at North Carroll High School for 38 years. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in 1974 from University of Maryland. He has served on the Carroll County Farm Bureau, Environmental Affairs Committee and as an Associate Member of the Carroll Soil Conservation District, Chair of both the North Carroll High School Improvement Team, and the Accreditation Committee. Mr. Weaver is an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He and his wife, Lila, have two sons, Christopher, an Agronomist who is married to Megan, a Veterinarian, and Charles, a Teacher at Mount Airy Middle School.
