City Opens Shelters for Residents without Power 


 

BALTIMORE, MD. (JULY 2, 2012)-Today, Mayor Rawlings-Blake announced new assistance for families impacted by Friday night’s deadly storm. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. tonight, Baltimore Housing will open shelters at the Baltimore Junior Academy located at 3006 West Coldspring Lane and at the Dawson Family Safe Haven Center located at 1400 East Federal Street.   Each location will have 75 beds and have the support of the American Red Cross and the Baltimore Health Department.
