WHAT:

Will dedicate the Big Four Pedestrian Bridge

 

WHEN:

5 p.m.

Wednesday, June 25, 2014

 

WHERE:

On the bridge

 

Beshear and Fischer will lead a parade from the Kentucky side and Moore will lead a parade from the Indiana side. The two parades will meet in the center for a brief ceremony, followed by Waterfront Wednesday on the Louisville side. Businesses in downtown Jeffersonville will be open late and offer specials.

 

Children (and adults) are encouraged to decorate their bikes for the celebration and line up on the ramps either side of the bridge starting at 4 p.m. The parade steps off promptly at 5 p.m.

 

The Big Four will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday to allow for preparation for the event.
