I am very thankful for the opportunity to serve as your Metro Councilwoman. The District 13 office will close at 3pm Wednesday and be closed all day Thursday and Friday.
Please note that the November meeting of the Fairdale Aurburndale Business and Professional Association, scheduled for today at noon, has been cancelled.
 Due to Light Up Louisville and the Children’s Winter Wonderland Parade, some downtown streets will be closed beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 10 a.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26. From 10 a.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Saturday, the following routes may detour off 6th Street between Market and Jefferson Streets. Look for detours on the following routes.
Southbound:
#4 – Fourth Street
* Riders are encouraged to board their coaches along 6th Street from Liberty Street to Broadway.
#6 – Sixth Street
#63 – Crums Lane
From Wednesday at 1 p.m. until Saturday at 6 a.m., the following routes may detour off Jefferson Street from 5th Street to 7th Street and off 6th Street from Jefferson to Liberty streets:
Southbound:
#4-Fourth Street
* Riders are encouraged to board their coaches at 5th and Market streets and 4th and Jefferson streets.
#6-Sixth Street
* Riders are encouraged to board their coaches on 5th Street from Broadway to Market and along 5th Street from Liberty Street to Broadway.

* Riders are encouraged to board their coaches along Broadway from 2nd to 12th streets.

Westbound:

* Riders are encouraged to board their coaches at 1st and Jefferson streets and on Chestnut Street from 8th to 2nd streets before 3 p.m.
#18-Preston
* After 3 p.m., riders are encouraged to board their coaches along Broadway from 2nd to 12th streets or at 12th and Jefferson streets.
#55-Westport Road
On Friday, from 3 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. there will be detours on the following streets due to a 5K run downtown:
• Jefferson Street from Seventh Street to Roy Wilkins Blvd.
• Liberty Street from Seventh Street to Roy Wilkins Blvd.
• Eighth Street from Market Street to Muhammad Ali Blvd.
Look for detours along the following routes:
