IHCDA Info- February 2015
The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA), chaired by Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann, provides housing opportunities, promotes self-sufficiency and strengthens communities. IHCDA works in collaboration with our partners to build a sustainable quality of life for all Hoosiers in communities of their choice.
On Monday, February 9th, IHCDA staff joined the development team and citizens from the Clinton community to celebrate the grand opening of Meadow Park Apartments.
IHCDA supported Meadow Park Apartments through Rental Housing Tax Credits as well as HOME and Development Funds.
A monthly newsletter from the Indiana Housing and Community
Development Authority designed to help our partners to stay up to date on program announcements, changes, trainings and events.
The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority would like to thank all of the Continuum of Care Regions, shelter/program staff and the countless number of volunteers who participated in the 2015 Point in Time (PIT) Homeless Count which took place in Indiana on Wednesday, January 28th.
The count, mandated by HUD to take place during the last two weeks in January, will once again give a snap shot of Hoosier individuals and families who were homeless that one night. In the bigger picture, it assists in assessing current programs and gauge whether or not they are working from year to year.
Results from the 2015 PIT will be released later this year.
Questions pertaining to Indiana's annual Point in Time Homeless Count may be sent to Angie Hass, Emergency Solutions Grant Program Analyst.
