Chicago Ave. between Church and Clark Streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2012 in order to hoist a new chiller system to the roof of the apartment complex located at 1715 Chicago Ave. The work requires placing a crane on Chicago Avenue to lift the heavy equipment. Due to the space required for the crane operation, Chicago Avenue will need to be closed between Clark Street and Church Street for operational and safety needs and traffic will be detoured.
Southbound traffic will be detoured via Clark Street/Sherman Avenue/Church Street and the northbound traffic via Davis Street/Orrington Avenue/Clark Street. The applicant will set up the traffic detour and notify the residents and businesses in the area.
