"Project Sticker Shock" Set for May 11 to Curb Underage Drinking

Sticker Shock
Evanston Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (ESAPC) will be visiting local stores that sell alcohol on May 11, 2012 to place stickers on doors and alcoholic beverages warning of the dangers of adults buying alcohol for minors as part of their annual participation in the Sticker Shock campaign.

“The Evanston Liquor Control Board is proud to support ESAPC in their efforts to help reduce underage drinking in our community,” said Evanston Mayor and Liquor Control Commissioner Elizabeth Tisdahl. “According to the CDC, alcohol use by persons under 21 is a major public health problem.
