GEORGIA DNR: NOTICE AND SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING

 

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to authority contained in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Secs. 12-2-1, 12-2-2, 12-2-24 and 50-13-3, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources proposes to amend Rule 391-1-1.01, pertaining to Organization, and repeal Rule 391-1-1-.02, pertaining to Description and Duties of the Commissioner's Office and Divisions. 

 

The purpose of the proposed amendment and repeal is to update, consolidate and streamline the description of the Department to reflect its current organizational structure. To access a PDF of the public notice and synopsis, together with an exact copy of the proposed amendment and repeal and a copy showing deletions and additions, click here.

 

One (1) public hearing is scheduled to provide interested persons an opportunity to submit comment on these proposals.  Individuals unable to attend this hearing may submit comments electronically to homer.bryson@dnr.state.ga.us , by telephone to (404) 656-3500, or by mail to Homer Bryson, Department of Natural Resources, 2 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Suite 1252 East, Atlanta, Georgia 30334.  Comments should be received by 4:30 P.M. on June 18, 2013.
