GTM RESEARCH PRESERVE TO HOST 3RD ANNUAL STATE OF THE RESERVE

~Afternoon of presentations and posters highlighting past year’s work ~

PONTE VEDRA BEACH - The GTM Research Reserve invites the community, stakeholders and partners to the 3rd annual State of the Reserve from 1 to 6 p.m. Feb 1. The afternoon will feature presentations about projects from 2012 followed by a local food and wine reception and poster session. This annual event highlights the past year of research, stewardship and education by the reserve and its many partners.

This year will focus on partnering agencies working within the boundaries of the GTM Research Reserve. Presentations will include research efforts from the University of North Florida and Flagler College, new education programs with partners such as St. Johns Technical High School and updates from the Florida State Park System. Posters will feature GTM Research Reserve research, education and stewardship projects as well as projects from the United States Department of Agriculture and Whitney Laboratory.
