DEP NORTHWEST DISTRICT PANAMA CITY OFFICE RELOCATES
~Northwest District saves about $16,000 after move in Panama City~
PANAMA CITY – The Florida Department of Environmental
Protection's Northwest District Office has completed relocation to a new branch office
after two days of moving.
The District was able to find a new location, which allowed for restructuring of lease agreements to free up additional funds for critical projects. The District will save approximately $15,586 annually in rent costs over the next five years. The office is still
located within the city limits of Panama City.
The office and its staff provide permitting and compliance services for a wide range
of activities to the central portion of the district, which includes Bay, Gulf,
Calhoun, Jackson and Washington counties.The District also operates its district office in Pensacola and a branch office in Tallahassee.
