HAVE A HAUNTINGLY GOOD TIME AT FLORIDA STATE PARKS THIS HALLOWEEN

~ Frightening and fun events for all ages can be found at state parks~

Honeymoon Island State Park

Ghouls and goblins await visitors at Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin.

TALLAHASSEE – Across the state, Florida residents and visitors are invited to enjoy a spooktacular Halloween at a state park. Walk along a trail where zombies, witches and ghosts lay in wait for their next visitor. Take a haunted tram or hayride, if you dare, winding down a scary path of unknown terror. Smaller ghouls and goblins can also enjoy scare-free versions of haunted trails and rides at many state parks.

Run for your life during a Monster Mile and Creature 5K at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park in Spring Hill. Visit one-of-a-kind scarecrows at Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park in Tallahassee. Crystal River Preserve State Park will host a "Terrifying Tram Tour” through the fearsome forest, a “Slimy Swamp Walk,” and a “Beastly Boat Ride” down the Crystal River. Let the rangers at Savannas Preserve State Park in Port St. Lucie and De Leon Springs State Park in De Leon take you on a haunted trail hike.

Pick a state park near you to enjoy tricks and treats, haunted trail walks and scary hay rides, fun and games for the whole family.
