~National Estuaries Day focused on the importance of estuarine education and conservation in the places where rivers meet the sea~


TALLAHASSEE -- On Friday, Sept. 28, First Lady Ann Scott will visit the Apalachicola
National Estuarine Research Reserve in Eastpoint to celebrate National Estuaries
Day. During her visit, the First Lady will read to children "A House for Hermit Crab"
by renowned environmental children’s author Eric Carle and participate in other
educational activities at the reserve’s nature center.
