Bluewater Bay Marina is designated as 258th Clean Marina in the state.

NICEVILLE – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Office of Sustainable Initiatives will host a designation ceremony at Bluewater Bay Marina on June 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. This ceremony will be held in conjunction with National Marina Day, where marinas nationwide host events to educate the public on the importance of keeping our waters and marinas clean. Bluewater Bay Marina has been designated as the 258th Clean Marina in Florida.
Invited guests include local elected officials, stakeholders and the general public.
DEP encourages boaters to practice clean safe boating while enjoying Florida’s waterways and oceans, especially on this day through the Florida Clean Marina Program - a collaborative effort between businesses and government to promote the sustainable use of materials and marina resources.
