DEP NORTHEAST DISTRICT AND FLORIDA MARINE CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION TO HOLD MINI-EXPO
~Product fair focuses on sustainable waterfront development~
JACKSONVILLE - The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Northeast District and the Florida Marine Contractors Association will co-host a product fair focusing on sustainable waterfront development in Northeast Florida. The event will feature environmentally-friendly alternative product displays and demonstrations, in addition to discussions by state and federal regulatory specialists, stakeholders and industry representatives from several states.
Marine contractors, consultants and operators and owners of marinas and waterfront property are invited to attend this free event.
Sustainable initiatives help Florida businesses and citizens protect the environment. The mini-expo will educate marine contactors on ways to navigate the regulatory process, share best management practices, and meet their clients’ needs while including environmentally sustainable design and construction methods in their projects.
