"Say Goodbye to Pesticides" collection at the Hazardous Materials Management Facility

Boulder County, Colo. -The Boulder County Resource Conservation Division’s Hazardous Materials Management Facility, 1901 63rd St., will host a pesticide collection from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, and the public is invited to take part.

The collection event encourages residents of Boulder County to pack up their unwanted pesticides and bring them to the facility for proper disposal and recycling. Removing unwanted and unused pesticides will minimize the risk of exposure at home and prevent toxic materials from entering the environment.

In addition to taking the next step to keeping yourself, family, pets and the environment safe by participating, you can also find safer alternatives and tips for disposal at www.boco.org/pesticides.

Interested participants must schedule an appointment at www.boco.org/hmmfappointment to dispose of your pesticides and herbicides. For more information, contact Shelly Fuller, Hazardous Materials Program Manager, at sfuller@bouldercounty.org.
