Comment Period Extended for BART Phase II Extension DSEIS/SEIR

VTA has provided two extra weeks to give comments on the environmental impacts of Phase II of VTA’s BART extension through Downtown San Jose and into Santa Clara. 

The comment period deadline has been extended from February 20 to March 6, 2017 to comment on the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement/Draft Subsequent Environmental Impact Report (SEIS/SEIR).

Trip Planner
VTA's new trip planner now links bike travel to transit

Now you have more options and choices in planning your transit and biking trips than ever before!

Starting Feb. 14, you'll find VTA's Trip Planner on our home page alongside the Google Trip Planner. If you prefer the old one you can still choose it, but we hope you'll give ours a try and tell us what you think.

Unlike other trip planners, VTA’s new multi-modal trip planner allows you to choose your preferred mode of travel or a combination of modes including – walking, biking and riding transit.

We're starting a new series of articles to introduce you to the people who advise VTA's Board of Directors on various policies, projects and initiatives from transit service to highway projects to bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. 

There are five VTA Advisory Committees made up of interested members of the community, elected leaders, and technical staff from the cities within Santa Clara County and the County itself, depending on the committee.
