Get to Know Your Neighbors!

get to know your neighbors

To help keep you and your loved ones safe, it is important to work together with your neighbors and get to know them better so you can look out for one another. Make a point today of saying “hello” to a neighbor you don’t know. Sometimes that’s all it takes to get a conversation started.

You and your neighbors are the ones who really know what is going on in your community. By cooperating with each other and law enforcement, you can help fight crime in your community in the most effective way – before it begins. If you see something, say something. Reporting crime is a community responsibility.

The San Diego County Sheriff offers these crime prevention resources.

Sometimes, however, we don’t always get along. If you could use a little help, look no further than Live Well San Diego Recognized Partner the National Conflict Resolution Center. NCRC works with thousands of individuals across the globe to help resolve conflicts at all levels of society, through their communication training programs and mediation services.
