Quitting smoking can be hard, but it is the number one thing you can do to reduce your risk of cancer, heart disease, stroke and emphysema and improve your overall health.

So, whether you are ready to quit, are just thinking about it or know someone that smokes, there are several resources available to help you. Take the time to share one of the smoking cessation resources below through your social media profile to encourage others to quit.

San Diego County - Quit Smoking Help & Resources

Live Well San Diego Recognized Partners:

American Lung Association – Hosts Freedom from Smoking Online, a step‐by‐step quit smoking program based on the successful group classes.

American Heart Association –Information and support on quitting smoking and living a non‐smoking life.

Kaiser Permanente – Offers a smoking cessation class free for members.

Palomar Health – Offers a free smoking cessation intro class.

Paradise Valley Hospital – Through their Center for Health Promotion, they offer a free six-week course.
