Through the chilling rain, the County of San Bernardino celebrated the new railroad grade separation on Glen Helen Parkway near Cajon Blvd.
Benefits of the Glen Helen Grade Separation Project:
- Improved access for residents
- Prevents train/automobile accidents
- Reduces emissions from idling vehicles waiting for train crossings
- Will enhance the future economic and community development opportunities in the area
- Lessen traffic jams during events
This grade separation bridge also benefits the traffic flow in and out of the Glen Helen Regional Park (which can potentially serve as a more accessible command post during emergencies), rodeo fairgrounds, raceway and amphitheater.
