Launch of Menlo Park Grant for the Arts (MPGA)

MENLO PARK, CA – The City of Menlo Park Community Services Department has launched the Menlo Park Grant for the Arts (MPGA), which is designed for organizations looking to perform in a professional-grade theater in an effort to support the Menlo Park artistic community. Five (5) organizations will be selected each year and will be awarded $500-$1000 to be used toward subsidizing the rental cost of the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center (PAC).

This grant was created to increase the accessibility of the PAC by members of the community and to encourage the development of local artistic groups by providing a high-quality venue at a subsidized cost.

MPGA applications will be accepted until December 1st. Award of grants submitted after the deadline are subject to available funds. Grants expire one year after they are awarded. No applications will be accepted once all funding is awarded, but any organization can reapply the following year.

For more information about the grant, contact the Community Services Department at 650.330.2223 or visit www.menlopark.org.
