Menlo Park announces release of Request for Proposals for Belle Haven Community Visioning

 

MENLO PARK, CA -- The City of Menlo Park is requesting proposals for the Belle Haven Neighborhood Community Visioning Process. Following the City’s adopted community engagement model, the City desires a process that will:

1. Result in values, goals and priorities for the neighborhood
2. Create the groundwork for future community capacity building in the neighborhood that includes:
   1. opportunities to develop resident leadership, resident organizing and advocacy, and collective action
   2. increased capacity of local organizations and other institutional partners to support that collective action toward systems change

 

Proposals that clearly address ways in which these capacity building aspects of the process are included will be considered as meeting all process requirements.

 

Proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2012. The proposer shall submit one original and 5 copies of its proposal.
