Supervisor's Message

d2 letterhead

Happy Halloween!  This fall our office has been hard at work for District 2.  Recently, I presented to the City Councils in Hayward, Union City, and Newark.  Additionally, our office hosted a town hall at the Niles Veterans Hall in Fremont and presented at the Sunol Citizens Advisory Committee.  These presentations provided information on current initiatives our office is moving forward on, and served as an opportunity for constituents to interact with our office.

In addition to meeting with various individuals and groups, our office hosted some of our main annual events, including the 35th Annual Hayward Volunteer Recognition and Awards Dinner. This event, gave us an opportunity to recognize the selfless and important work of the many volunteers throughout the City of Hayward. Thank you again, to the 45 award winners, for their continued work to make our community better.

As we head into the end of the year, my office will continue to meet with folks to move District 2 forward.  I look forward to ongoing collaboration with non-profits, community leaders, and businesses to build upon the important work they do in our District.  Being accessible to you is important to me. Please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Sincerely,

Signature
