The community is invited to attend a second and final public meeting to provide input and learn about the project as the design progresses.

Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013

5:30 - 7:00 p.m. (Brief presentation to begin at 5:45 p.m.)

Tucson Mountain Baptist Church; Building E (Sanctuary)

The SR 86 (Valencia Road to Kinney Road) project design phase began in October 2011 and is expected to last approximately 18 months. The new design will be consistent with the Final Design Concept Report and Environmental Assessment, which were finalized in summer 2010. The construction project, estimated at $45 million, is expected to begin in fall 2013.

Maps and project information will be on display. The public is encouraged to ask questions and submit comment forms, which will be available at the meeting. A brief question and response session will follow the presentation. Project team members will be on hand before and after the presentation to meet with attendees and address specific questions and concerns.
