Pronghorn antelope hunters needed
KEMMERER-Kemmerer Game Warden Chris Baird is looking for a few good pronghorn antelope hunters in hunt area 93 with type 1, type 6 or type 7 licenses.
“If you are a pronghorn antelope hunter with a 93 type 1, type 6 or type 7 license and have not harvested your antelope yet, head to the Joseph Jones Ranch,” Baird said. “The ranch is located at Names Hill, south of Labarge, Wyo. There are many pronghorn on the ranch and the owners are just fine with people giving them a phone call to get permission to hunt them.”
The pronghorn antelope hunt area 93 type 1 permit is valid for any antelope and the type 6 and 7 licenses are valid for doe or fawn. The season for all three is open through October 31. The phone numbers to call for permission to access the ranch are: 307-386-2063 or 307-386-2309.
