Need your help to solve area poaching cases
ROCK SPRINGS-Rock Springs Game Warden Dave Hays is looking for information to help solve three poaching cases in Sweetwater County.
“So far this month, I've investigated two buck pronghorn antelope shot and left; one pronghorn south of Eden in hunt area 92 on September 10th and the other pronghorn east of Pine Mountain in hunt area 112 on September 20th,” Hays said. “The bull elk was shot out of season on September 18th from Highway 430 at approximately 10:30 p.m. in hunt area 124, with those suspects using a spotlight. No suspects have been identified in any of the three cases so far. I am hoping someone saw something during any one of these poaching incidents and will give me or the STOP Poaching Hotline a call so the violators will be held accountable for their actions.”
Anyone with information on these or any wildlife violation may also call the Stop Poaching Hotline at 1-877-WGFD-TIP (1-877-943-3847). Tips may be reported to Rock Springs Game Warden Dave Hays at 307-382-6602 or online at wgfd.wyo.gov Tips may also be reported to the Green River Game and Fish Office at-1-307-875-3223. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 if the information leads to a conviction.
