Greetings Rock River Community!

In response to feedback we have received through various meetings and workshops, we are working on developing quarterly TMDL Implementation Update Forums.  These forums will serve a few purposes:

  • to provide brief updates on the Rock River Recovery and TMDL Implementation,
  • to provide focused discussions on topics of interest, and
  • lastly, and perhaps most importantly, to provide a regular opportunity for our community to come together and have time to network and share activities from throughout the basin.

The first forum is scheduled for January 30, 930 - 1200, at the DNR South Central Regional Office.  Please see the attached agenda for more information.  This forum will focus on monitoring.

Our next forum will be in April and the focus topic will be stormwater and MS4's aspects of TMDL Implementation.  Please contact Maureen McBroom (Maureen.McBroom@wisconsin.gov) or Eric Rortvedt (Eric.Rortvedt@wisconsin.gov) if you have questions about this forum.

 These quarterly forums are intended to provide a valuable networking and learning opportunity for our community.  If you have suggestions for possible topics, please contact Mark Riedel (marks.riedel@wisconsin.gov) or Any Yencha (andrew.yencha@ces.uwex.edu) with your ideas.

 

Lastly, if you are planning on attending the forum, please RSVP by Monday January 26 so we can plan accordingly.  Attendance is limited by venue size and will be provided on a first response basis.
