This year looks quite different from previous years. With USDA's Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Waiver, your district has more time to decide if CEP is right for your schools.
The Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) has several informational webinars that can help you decide:
Your district has until Monday, August 31, to apply for CEP. Please let your program specialist know if you plan to utilize this provision as soon as possible.
The next school year brings many unknowns. New equipment, protective gear and other items will be needed to continue efficient meal services, whether served in the classroom, grab 'n' go style or delivered to student's homes.
To ease this financial burden the School Nutrition Foundation created the Help Feed School Kids Now grant program.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Complete your application on the Help Feed School Kids Now COVID-19 Grant page.
