Help welcome King County’s newest water taxi

Please join us at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, to celebrate the arrival of the M.V. Sally Fox—our new vessel for the Vashon route. She was named in honor of a Vashon resident and passionate advocate for passenger ferry service between Vashon and downtown Seattle.

The celebration and vessel dedication, hosted by King County Executive Dow Constantine and other dignitaries, will take place at the Vashon Ferry Terminal (10800 North Vashon Highway). The dedication will be followed by refreshments, music, and free rides on the Sally Fox until 4 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to park in the public lot at 10365 W Cowan Road and take a free shuttle to the dock.
