UPDATE: Long-Term Bus Stop Closures - The bus stops on Aurora Av N at Mercer St & Thomas St are closed

On Monday, April 22, the bus stops on northbound Aurora Av N at both Thomas St and
Mercer St, and southbound on Aurora Av N at Mercer St closed for the duration of the
west phase of the Mercer Corridor Project.

Routes 5, 16, 26 Express, 28 Express or 358 are serving at the following posted bus stops:

   • Routes 5, 26 Ex, 28 Ex or 358 – Northbound on Aurora Av just south of Denny Way;

   • Route 16 – Northbound on 5th Av N just north of Republican St, or

   • All routes – North of Mercer, northbound on Aurora Av N just south of Highland Drive.

As of Friday, May 10, the new temporary stop at Highland Dr replaces the previous one at
Prospect St.

 

Board or exit southbound routes 5, 26 Express, 28 Express or 358 to downtown Seattle
at one of these posted bus stops:

   • North of Mercer, southbound on Aurora Av N just south of Prospect St, or

   • South of Mercer, southbound on Aurora Av N just north of Denny Way.

Routes 5, 26 Ex, 28 Ex and 358 remain on regular route.

Northbound Route 16 is rerouted via Dexter Av N and Valley St to Aurora Av N.
Heading toward downtown Seattle route 16 remains on  its regular route.
