To enhance communication and awareness, we are now providing GovDelivery notifications to alert Benefits Administrators (BAs) on the details of updates to the SEBB My Account (SMA) program. We believe these notifications will provide better awareness of the developmental efforts to improve SMA and perhaps allow BAs to prioritize issues based on a more up-to-date knowledge of the issues being addressed within the program. See below for details on the latest updates to SMA:

  • New report ‘Oregon Residential address’ is now available for BAs.  This report will be helpful in identifying Oregon residential addresses that will now require the addition of county. If county is missing by the start of open enrollment (October 26), subscribers living in: Benton, Clackamas, Columbia, Hood River, Lane, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington, Yamhill, will not have Kaiser plans available to them by residential county.

ACTION/EMPLOYER RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Run the report: From Reports select ‘Oregon Residential Address’ then ‘run’
  2. To update address: select “Manage subscribers” from the admin dashboard in SEBB My Account, locate subscriber, go to Profile tab and select residential address. Update address with county and save.
  • New report ‘Spousal re-attestation at open enrollment’ is scheduled to be available for BAs during Open Enrollment. This report will include the SEBB organization’s subscribers who will need to re-attest during 2021 open enrollment to determine if the $50 monthly spousal/state-registered domestic partner surcharge premium is applicable. 

Subscribers who are flagged in SEBB My Account and do not re-attest, will default into paying the $50 monthly spouse or state-registered domestic partner coverage premium effective January 1, 2021 in addition to their medical premium

Additional Completed Updates to SEBB My Account:

  • BAs and HCA will no longer see a termination date duplicated in transfer field.
  • BAs will no longer have an issue reporting a subscriber as newly eligible when they have a gap in SEBB coverage.
  • Dental and vision is available to select with ‘Loss of other coverage’ SOE.
  • Subscribers, BAs were seeing default plan for some newly eligible month one, and election next month. Elections are now showing appropriately for entire eligibility period.
  • Other open enrollment readiness:
  • Plans available in service areas have been updated for open enrollment.
  • Subscribers that will need to re-attest for the spousal or state-registered domestic partner coverage premium surcharge during the open enrollment will have a banner notifying them to complete the re-attestation.
