Crystal City Multimodal Center
The contractor will begin placing concrete for the
reconstruction of 18th Street South. During the week of Sept. 7,
they will continue reconstruction of the roadway section beneath the Route 1
overpass.

Detours/Lane Closures
The following lane closures are due to construction for the Crystal City Potomac Yard Transitway and Crystal City Multimodal Center.
Crystal Drive:
- Between 20th and 23rd Streets - Northbound right lane closed. Access to driveways in this area remains open.
- From U.S. Route 1 up to 26th Street South - Parking and right lanes closed.
Route 1: Northbound right turn lane closed between South Glebe Road and Crystal Drive.
18th Street South:
- Inside lanes on each side of the street are closed between South Eads and Bell Streets. No on-street parking or charter bus parking available in this area.
- Bike lane closed underneath Route 1 bridge.
South Clark Street: Right lane closed between 20th and 23rd Streets, and between 23rd and 26th Streets.
