National Recovery Month

Every September, communities and individuals across the country join together to observe SAMHSA's National Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use issues, and celebrate the people who recover.

Join SAMHSA, the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, and the Recovery Month Planning Partners as we kick off the 26th annual National Recovery Month at a press conference. SAMHSA will unveil the latest national data on mental and substance use disorders.

Get involved in National Recovery Month 2015 and spread the word that prevention works, treatment is effective, and people can and do recover.
