OWH Invites You to a Webinar on Hispanics and Hepatitis 

Did you know the estimated prevalence of hepatitis C is significantly higher among Latinos than it is in the general population? Awareness of the disease remains very low among Hispanics, despite the availability of treatments for hepatitis C. Join our upcoming webinar on Monday, November 18, 2013, to hear from presenters about strategies to raise awareness of viral hepatitis among Latinos. Opening remarks will be made by Dr. Howard Koh, the Assistant Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
