Exciting news about Best Bones Forever!, an adolescent bone health campaign led by the Office on Women’s Health!

Results from the Best Bones Forever! Community Pilot Program are being published in the June 2013 issue of the journal ICAN: Infant, Child, & Adolescent Nutrition. The article, “Integrating Bone Health Information Into Existing Health Education Efforts,” discusses the feasibility and effectiveness of incorporating bone health information into existing health promotion and education activities. It presents the promising findings from the evaluation, which revealed significant improvements in bone health knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, self-efficacy, and intentions among pilot program participants. You can read the abstract on the Best Bones Forever! Educators page. The full manuscript will be available for download at that page in the next few weeks.
