  • American Dental Association (ADA) Foundation: Samuel D. Harris Fund for Children’s Dental Health Grant Program. Deadline is April 10, 2015. Learn more.
  • Hep B United/Hepatitis B Foundation: 2015 Mini‐Grants. Eligible applicants should be able to demonstrate that they have in place an active, local coalition focusing on hepatitis B education, screening and linkage to care activities. Deadline is April 13, 2015. Learn more.
  • Missouri Foundation for Health: Special Projects Funding Program. The program encourages nonprofits to propose solutions that can have measurable impact on their community’s health in a defined period of time. Deadline is April 20, 2015. Learn more.

  • As we approach National Minority Health Month in April, we are pleased to announce this year’s theme, 30 Years of Advancing Health Equity - The Heckler Report: A Force for Ending Health Disparities in America, in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Report of the Secretary’s Task Force on Black and Minority Health (also known as the Heckler Report). This theme reflects our collective efforts to accelerate momentum towards achieving a nation free of disparities in health and health care and the ways in which the Heckler Report has served as a driving force for the monumental changes in research, policies, programs and legislation to advance health equity.


  • HHS/CDC: New resource. Community Health Status Indicators (CHSI) 2015 Web Application. CHSI 2015 is an interactive web application that produces health profiles for all US counties, including key indicators of health outcomes such as health care access and quality, health behaviors, social factors and the physical environment.
