  • HHS/National Institutes of Health (NIH): Interventions for Health Promotion and Disease prevention in Native American Populations (R01). Deadline for letters of intent is April 12, 2015. Learn more.
  • US Department of Justice (DOJ)/National Institute of Justice (NIJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP): FY 2015 Research and Evaluation Examining Violence Against American Indian and Alaska Native Women: Domestic Violence, Homicide, Intimate Partner Violence, Sex Trafficking, Sexual Violence, Stalking, and Teen Dating Violence.   • University of Washington/Partnerships for Native Health: Native People for Cancer Control Community Grant. Invites proposals from organizations to conduct short-term projects involving cancer education, advocacy, prevention, and screening. Tribes and Tribal or community-based organizations serving Native populations in the states of Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, North Dakota, and South Dakota are invited to apply.   • American University/School of Professional & Extended Studies: Washington Internships for Native Students (WINS) - Summer 2015. This program offers students of American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian nations the opportunity to build leadership and advocacy skills while studying and interning in Washington, DC.
