  • Kansas Health Foundation: Recognition Grants. This program funds unsolicited requests from organizations and agencies proposing projects that focus on promoting policy, systems and environmental (PSE) transformations that support health. Internships / Mentoring 

  • American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO): ASCO Diversity Mentoring Program. This program seeks to educate minority physicians-in-training about careers in oncology by fostering relationships with experienced oncology professionals who can provide career and educational guidance. Deadline is March 17, 2015. Loan Repayment

  • HHS/National Health Service Corps (NHSC): Loan Repayment Program. Primary care medical, dental and mental/behavioral health clinicians can get funds to repay their health profession student loans in exchange for a two-year commitment to work at an approved NHSC site in a high-need, underserved area. Clinical Trials

  • HHS/NIH Clinical Center and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD): Kisspeptin Doses in Postmenopausal Women (Study 13-CH-0139). This study is currently recruiting female volunteers to participate in research on the role of kisspeptin on hormone production in the body. Kisspeptin is a protein that signals the body to make reproductive hormones. Study to be conducted at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. Learn more.
  • HHS/NIH Clinical Center and the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK): Diabetes and Heart Disease Risk in Blacks (Study 99-DK-0002). Researchers will determine whether there is a relationship between sex and body size and the incidence of heart disease in African American men and women. This study is currently recruiting women and men born in Africa, 18-65 years old. Compensation will be provided. Study to be conducted at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. Learn more
