Clinical Trials

  • HHS/NIH Clinical Center: Bone Marrow Cell Engraftment of the Uterus (Study 12-CH-0016). Researchers are studying the role of stem cells in the female reproductive system. Further understanding of this tissue may help researchers to develop treatments for women with gynecologic problems, such as abnormally heavy menstrual bleeding and recurrent miscarriage. Women over the age of 18 who have had a stem cell transplant or have a condition affecting reproduction are invited to participate. This study is not a treatment study. Study to be conducted at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. Learn more

  • National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC): Program. PrEPare for Life - The PrEP Education and Awareness Program. PrEP, or Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, is the strategy of taking a pill every day to prevent HIV. This program intends to inform and increase awareness on PrEP, provide education about the benefits and risks, and improve understanding of PrEP as part of a comprehensive HIV prevention strategy.
